Our winery is evidence of what one man with vision, determination, and a little luck can accomplish. Proprietor and winemaker, Ted Kane, developed a passion for winemaking at a young age. Many Alberta winters were spent learning and planning how to accomplish his ultimate goal; owning and operating a winery in Canada's premiere wine producing area, Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. 10 years after acquiring it, this perfect piece of raw land has been transformed into a 7 acre vineyard producing several varieties of high quality fruit, a fully functioning winery with a boutique tasting room and, most importantly, our family home. We specialize in the Bordeaux varietals, but also have a selection of white wines and a unique, full bodied Malbec Rose.

High Point Resort (Whiskey Point Resort) overlooks panoramic Quathiaski Cove harbor on beautiful Quadra Island. Enjoy swimming in the outdoor sanitized and heated pool from med June to Sept. kitchenettes in every room, clean and comfortable rooms with complimentary coffee and teas. BBQ grill is available. Come to the northern edge of the Great Bear Rainforest on British Columbias north coast, to the Khutzeymateen. Here, within the traditional territory of the Tsimshian nations, lives a wild population of coastal grizzly bears. Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.
