Whether you have a specific water taxi destination in mind or just want to take a tour through the scenic island passages, we can give you a unique and exciting view of this spectacular British Columbia Marine Eco System! Discovery Launch Water Taxi is conveniently located near downtown Campbell River, Vancouver Island, BC. You'll find us at the Fisherman's Wharf, one block south of the Quadra Island BC Ferry terminal. We have an experienced, conscientious, top-notch staff who are committed to providing our customers with excellent customer service as well as a fast, safe ride.

Our beautiful remote wilderness lodge is located at the shore of Williston Lake, 65 km by boat from Hudson's Hope. Pick up in Hudson's Hope is included. We also provide great guided wilderness adventure for individuals, couples and smaller groups (up to 8 persons). All trips are unique and individual, when it comes to accomodation, activities and duration. We can take you into the Rocky Mountains on horse back in tent camp and spend the days riding and hiking - we can go fishing for huge trouts on the lake - we can explore the area on side-by-sides, and maybe see bears, moose, elk and goats. You can stay at our lodge, in a remote cabin or in a tent camp - it can be as wild as you prefer.During the fall we also do hunting adventure of the big game of British Columbia.We look forward to welcome you as friends and say good bye as family !This is a true wilderness adventure!

Historic Joy Kogawa House is the childhood home of Canadian author Joy Kogawa. Joy and her family lived in the house until 1942, when they were sent to an internment camp along with thousands of other Canadians of Japanese descent. Now used as a site for author residencies and literary events, the house stands as a historical reminder of the internment experience of Japanese Canadians during WW2.

Located in a central location next to Sechelt's visitor's centre, Sun Coast Swing, a local social dance club, operates out of the Seaside Centre, a large bright and open event space with upper mezzanine and a vaulted ceiling with cedar beams.
