Each room is personally decorated. All of the two-story Merritt Lodge Motel rooms provide free WiFi internet router, 43" flat-screen smart TV with cable box, microwave and coffee tea maker, refrigerator, quiet balcony, air conditioning, and every room is non-Smoking. The Westbank Museum and West Kelowna Visitor Centre is open. We are a community museum as well as a Visitor Information Centre. We strive to promote our community's history and to give visitors outstanding service! We are open daily 9 am to 4 pm from May Long Weekend to Labour Day Weekend.

The Kootenay Lake Historical Society is the custodian of the S.S. Moyie, the world's oldest intact passenger sternwheeler. The Moyie plied Kootenay Lake for 59 years - it is now a National Historic Site and Museum. Open from May through October, visitors are taken back in time when the board the vessel. Jennifer Chocolates is an artisan gourmet chocolate shop in Nakusp, BC. We make everything right here on location and very often you can see the chocolatier at work and watch our decadent chocolate creations being made. Come and let us tempt your taste buds with our famous dark chocolate truffles or enjoy summer treats like homemade caramel or Sponge Toffee.

The Daajing Giids Visitor Center is located on the waterfront with gorgeous ocean views. We are an excellent local source of information when visiting Haida Gwaii. Inside the longhouse inspired building you will find engaging, resourceful staff, artisan galleries, a gift shop as well as useful interpretive materials. Head outside to our garden and picnic area to relax and take in the fresh air. We also have a large day parking area for RVs and clean indoor public restrooms. We are closed seasonally from December until mid-April. We will be intermittently checking our email; and voicemail messages throughout this time. Stay tuned for our reopening date in Spring!
