Four unique accommodations in Wells, the Mountain Thyme Getaways include a restored 1 and 1/2 story wooden clap-board house typical of the mine workers of the 1930s and 40s. The Meadow Suites are two independent options for couples who don't need an entire house. The Willow sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms and an optional giant loft. Ridge Wilderness Adventures and Rentals is an outdoor adventure canoeing company operating in the Lower Mainland. We work with many school groups, girl guides, scouts and private groups all over BC, offering many day trips, overnights and multi-day canoe and camping adventures. We also provide canoe lessons throughout the summer season, and Red Cross Certified First Aid September to June each year. We specialize in Wilderness First Aid and our hands on instructors provide high level wilderness first aid instruction to SAR,DFO, and BC Parks ; as well as public first aid programs offered locally in Langley, Chilliwack, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island. We've traveled all over BC, Alberta, and the rest of Canada, as well as England and China; providing world class training in both canoeing and first aid. Our Rentals Operation is located at Kearsley Creek Campground, and offers Canoe, Kayak and SUP rentals all summer long on the beautiful Stave Lake!

Fair Harbour Marina and Campground is happy to provide a 26 site campground, 4 rental cabins, fuel and moorage docks, boat launch, general store, washrooms and showers and laundry facilities at the Gateway to Kyuquot. Located at the very end of a Forest Service Road, it provides the only access to remote Kyuquot Sound. This traditional territory of the Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k'tles7et'h' First Nations is the jumping off point to some the most spectacular and breathtaking scenery on the west side of Vancouver Island. During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway.
