Come experience an amazing day on the water discovering more about Ucluelet and the local marine life on Canada's Pacific Coast. Cameron Ocean Adventures offers whale watching & wildlife tours: With a focus on finding whales, we also encounter a multitude of other marine life, such as sea lions, seals, sea otters, eagles and marine birds. Our tours take place on a 43 foot (13 meter) covered boat with indoor and outdoor viewing areas, heated cabin and bathroom onboard. We provide inflatable life jackets for all our guests to be worn during the tour, as well as life jackets for children. We also provide binoculars for all our guests to use.

Quiet, convenient location, 4 blocks from the town centre, 7 minutes to the ski lifts at Red Mountain Resort, 12 minutes to Trail, and a short hike to the Redstone golf course. Mountain bike trails start here. Housekeeping and help-yourself breakfast food are optional. Short-term and longer-term rates are very good value.

Open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm year round. Weekends and Holidays noon to 4pm (when staff available, check). Our displays include First Nations, pioneer items including an 1880's cabin, mining, logging & ranching. Displays are curated annually. U'mista Cultural Centre is one of the longest-operating and most successful First Nations cultural facilities in BC, founded in 1980 as a ground breaking project to house potlatch artifacts which had been seized by government during an earlier period of cultural repression. The return of the potlatch artifacts not only provided U'mista's name ('the return of something important'), and sparked a general trend toward repatriation of First Nations and cultural artifacts, it caused the creation of a physical facility and human resources infrastructure which have been successfully operated for over two decades.U'mista now operates a modern museum and cultural education facility in Alert Bay. Their operations include the museum, an extensive art gallery and gift shop, group tours, and presentations by dance troupes.
