Coquitlam Heritage Society operates Mackin House Museum. Mackin House is one of the last remaining Fraser Mill homes. Located on the corner of Brunette Avenue and Marmont Street, Mackin House has been a landmark and monument in the community since it was built in 1909. The Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin is located in the back half of the building. The centre also boast a ice cream/gift/coffee shop, interactive displays, washrooms, seating areas, and free internet.
