John Henry's Resort & Marina offers 4 cozy oceanfront cottages and a marina, amidst spectacular Sunshine Coast scenery and beautiful gardens. Quiet and peaceful with views of the harbour, yet within a short walk of John Henry's General Store and Fuel Dock. The Canada Post is attached to the store and inside we offer the Cafe at John Henry's (open on a seasonal basis). Our location is a perfect base for hiking, golfing, diving, sailing, fishing or just relaxing. Boat ramp available.

Our motel suite rates start at $65 a night (winter rate) and $75 a night (summer rate) and range to $115 a night, depending on your requirements. Adventure rentals at the base of the dogtooth mountains. Our first custom geodome treehouse is scheduled to be open in the spring/summer of 2022! Until then our first cabin is officially open with hundreds of kilometers of hiking, biking, off-roading and equestrian use trails accessible from the front door.

Waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the privacy of your own deck listening to all the birds and occasionally catching a glimpse of the local deer and her babes is truly magical. This year she has twins and I seen them for the first time romping through a field of daisies. Crazy lucky I feel to live here and enjoy these moments. Both cottages are now fully equipped with kitchenettes so you may have options to cook a light meal at home or for a special occasion please ask and I am happy to offer breakfast or late afternoon cheese plate served to you out in your hideaway.

Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch & Guest Cottage ~ Buffalo Tours. A working Buffalo & Guest Ranch. We offer educational buffalo tours daily May thru September. The owner, Leo Downey, does one tour every morning May 15th thru September, starting at 10:15 a.m. (Alberta Time )This includes the native fire making demonstration. We also offer year round accommodations in our fully furnished guest cottage and our peaceful cabin by the creek,, Wagon in the Woods and Buffalero's Bunkhouse in the Barn. Make yourself at home, see buffalo in their natural social order, learn about them first hand, wander the ranch and our pristine river frontage on the beautiful Blaeberry River.
