Meet the Business Owner: David an ACMG certified ski guide for the last 30 years. The mountains are truly his passion. Guiding in many industries such as Ski touring, Heli and Cat skiing in a few different country's . He has made his home with his family in Golden BC and at Mistaya Lodge. David was working at Mistaya from day one and took over ownership in 2003. We host small groups of no more that 14 guests at a time. We are a family owned and operated small business that would love to show you around our little back yard in the summer or in the winter.

The owner, Leo Downey, does one tour every morning May 15th thru September, starting at 10:15 a.m. (Alberta Time )This includes the native fire making demonstration.
