We are a 100% certified organic cidery located on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We bought our property in 2011 and became certified organic shortly after in 2013. Currently, the ingredients in the majority of our products are grown on property using our over 3,500 apple trees consisting of over 450 varieties. What we dont source from our orchard, we get from other farms on Salt Spring Island. We mainly focus on dry cider as we feel it best captures the complexity and taste of our apples, however with our incredible range of 16 ciders, we have something for everyone. If our ciders didnt catch your attention, the view from our tasting room and orchard sure will! We sit on over 3 acres of land with an unbelievable view of the water and mountains. The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season. Located in the heart of downtown Ladysmith, the Ladysmith Gallery is seconds away from local shopping and restaurants. A not for profit organization under the Arts Council of Ladysmith, it has a strong reputation for the largest and top quality of art from West Coast artists for over 20 years.

The course is deceptively challenging, with 6 separate tees for the back nine, yet it is a great recreation destination course for all handicappers.

We provide guided Hiking and Kayaking/Paddleboarding tours for guests in Sooke, B.C. We also offer Kayak and Paddleboard rentals for those who want to explore on their own. Mystic beach adventures is located in Sooke a one hour drive from Victoria B.C.

Explore the waters and shoreline surrounding Alder Bay on a three and a half hour guided kayak tour. Using stable double kayaks, these kayak tours are suitable for everyone even those with no prior kayaking experience. Since 1986 we have been operating tours in the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait (Robson Bight), and Blackfish Sound. This area is considered the best place to find Northern resident orca. Large numbers of humpback whales also congregate here during the summer months. Other marine mammals such as Biggs (transient) orca, minke whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dalls porpoises, sea otters, Northern sea lions, and harbour seals are regularly sighted on tours. We take 11 people maximum and pride ourselves in offering a more personalized approach to whale watching. The small group sizes offer more intimacy with the wildlife and an opportunity to interact with the skipper. The boat has a marine toilet onboard and provides enough space that when stationary, guests are welcome to move about the boat to take photographs and enjoy the dynamic scenery and wildlife. It is a perfect whale watching platform. We offer ethical, educational, and meaningful experiences.

A visit to the Salmon Centre is a fun and educational experience for all ages!The Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre, Quatse River Hatchery, and Quatse River Campground are operated by the Northern Vancouver Island Salmonid Enhancement Association. All proceeds fund salmon conservation efforts on Northern Vancouver Island.

Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash".
