Parwood is an 18 hole disc golf course located in Sparwood, BC. The course is rugged and is built on the side of a mountain. The course is made up of 18 Innova baskets with yellow metal bands. The course is located at the end of the old ski hill road (Sparwood Heights Drive), behind Sycamore Rd. Visit the Leisure Centre (367 Pine Ave) to get maps, discs, brochures and instructions.

Arrowsmith Golf & Country Club is a semi-private, executive length golf course located 10 minutes north of Qualicum Beach. We have 300 Members and welcome all public players to our course. Arrowsmith is challenging enough for experienced golfers, yet not intimidating for less experienced golfers. This Farmers' Market offers a unique experience with a permanent outdoor marketplace during the spring/summer including vendor booths, a food barn, a bandshell for local music and a miniature train that runs during the Sunday market. You will find fresh, locally grown produce, meats and eggs as well as fresh baking and preserves. There's plenty of ready to eat food to keep you satisfied as you listen to live music, enjoy local craftspeople and relax around the stage or the children's sandbox. For a relaxing experience to help you get a good sense of what Powell River community feels like, join us from May-Sept on Saturdays from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and year round on Sundays from 12:30 pm - 2:30pm at 4365 McLeod Road. Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
