During the winter, Silver Star Ski Resort is near the top of the mountain and only takes 1/2 hour to wind through the most beautiful scenery toward a wonderful ski trip. Whistler RV and Campground is under new management and ownership as of July 2013. We have planted trees in the RV section of the park, installed WiFi, as well as paved and re levelled all sites. We have also added activities such as frisbee golf, whiffle golf and a pump track for bicycles to the campground. We offer drive in tenting, and full hookup BIG RIG friendly sites for RV's.

The location is nestled between the Elk River, Fernie Golf Course and Maiden Lake. It is also close to Fernies shopping and dining services, and the Historic Downtown. The Riverside Resort Trail connects with the Fernie trail network for endless walking and biking and in Winter months the trail is groomed and connects with a Nordic network. Amenities include two family-style washrooms with private showers, sinks and toilets, 30 and 50 amp service, free WiFi, a professional laundry, kids playground, pump-track, sani-dump and water fill-up station.
