Blackwood Lane Winery was the dream of Carlos Lee and that of his oenophile partners. Their goal was simple, to produce wines that lived up to their high standards and expectations. Their philosophy is summarized in the Companys motto: Bonus Vita et Bonus Amici (Good Life and Good Friends). As wine lovers, they realized that people in the Greater Vancouver area had to travel to the Okanagan Valley in order to acquire the best wines of the province, so they decided to bring the wines to them. Accordingly, they set up their boutique winery in the heart of the Fraser Valley wine corridor, only minutes from Vancouver, on 12.2 acres of the most beautiful south facing slopes in the area. The winery has a beautiful patio and an authentic stone pizza oven!

The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout. Horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and canoeing into the local wilderness are all part of the ranch's daily summer routine. Your skilled guide will lead you to adventures on remote mountains, valleys and lakes in a setting as spectacular as it is challenging. In history the word Corcelettes described a royal garden; this hasnt changed with the teams continued attention to the land and precision practices in both the vineyard and cellar. We place greatest care in our viticulture and believe in making our wine on the vine. Cultivating our estate vineyard and working closely with our local growers, no short cuts are ever taken in finding balance between viticulture, our environment, and winemaking. Our first vintage was in 2011, consisting of 200 cases. We currently craft 5000 cases of wine per year, with plans of each future vintage growing in production size.
