Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre: Come and explore our exciting Nordic ski trails in beautiful Golden, BC! We provide 33 km of groomed trails and a 4km snowshoe loop to enjoy. These trails are maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club in agreement with Recreation Sites and Trails BC. Situated only 1km from the popular Kicking Horse Resort, Nordic skiing is a fun activity to add to your winter holiday bucket list. Parwood is an 18 hole disc golf course located in Sparwood, BC. The course is rugged and is built on the side of a mountain. The course is made up of 18 Innova baskets with yellow metal bands. The course is located at the end of the old ski hill road (Sparwood Heights Drive), behind Sycamore Rd. Visit the Leisure Centre (367 Pine Ave) to get maps, discs, brochures and instructions.
