Located in the historic community of Spences Bridge, Acacia Grove RV Park & Cabins is situated on a lush setting overlooking the famous Thompson River. Our well-appointed duplex and triplex cabins are self-contained with air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchens, two or three beds, and picnic tables. Want to soar like an eagle? Or knock an item off of your bucket list? Then come and visit us! We offer tandem flights for: Paragliding, Hang Gliding & Motorized Hang Gliding Trike. Tandem flights range in time from 8 minutes to over an hour, depending on the conditions. If you want to become a pilot yourself, we have qualified instructors to teach you how to paraglide or hang glide. The flight park has 2 launch sites and a 2000' grass runway and 2 smaller taxiways as well as a Pilot's Lounge, an outdoor covered deck where you can relax after your flight and watch others "commit acts of aviation"! We are open from late April to mid-October, weather permitting.

In the winter: we are close to the ski hill (only two minutes) and cross country skiing or snow shoeing starts in our back yard! Down town Kimberley is only a 5 minutes (short cut) walk and we are across from the well known restaurant The Old Bauernhaus.

Family Farm B&B is a hobby farm situated on a lovely 5 acres in the quiet town of Powell River, BC. In the presence of a host, guests can visit with various animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and goats. There are various free activities for adults and children (depending on season and availability), including goat-milking, cheesemaking, and vegetable gardening. Breakfast is included.
