Other features of the Cascade Lodge include secure underground parking (for a fee), laundry in our common areas (coin operated) or in-suite (1 and 2 bedroom suites), fitness room, male and female sauna, conference room and bike storage.

Hotel Zed Tofino is a hotel experience that completely rebels against the ordinary. You may be used to our retro-chic motel feel in our other Hotel Zed locations, but Hotel Zed Tofino is a whole new vibe. Think: totally gorgeous, swanky 70's pad. But this isn't your Granny's crib (unless your Granny was a very stylish rebel!) Our rooms and public areas are groovy and chilled out. The style is deluxe and you'll never get bored here with our sunken living room, retro office, psychic's den and...what's that? A bike path that runs through the middle of the lobby? Yeah, you've never seen anything like this before. Plus, weve got an on-site bird sanctuary for you nature lovers. World-famous Chesterman Beach and the Inlet are both a short stroll from the hotel, and if you wanna roll into town were right on the bike path. The market is always a weekly delight for the senses. It awakens a sleepy Saturday with beautiful sights, sounds and delicious smells. Throughout the 2019 season, the Cranbrook Farmers Market will host a variety of performers, musicians and fun activities for the whole family. This takes place alongside a diverse array of local food producers, growers and artisans offering their hand-crafted, home-made, locally-grown and produced items. The Cranbrook Farmers Market has become so much more than a place to shop. Its a place to connect with friends, to celebrate local business and farming, and to stroll with no set agenda. It is a place to learn things and meet people. The market provides an opportunity to surround yourself in Kootenay culture and enjoy the abundance of flavours, textures and talents it has given root to.

This forested campground offers a sunny creek-side setting for campers of all kinds, with more trees and privacy on the north end in the first-come, first-served section and sunnier pull-through sites on the south end in the reservable section. Forest Rose Campground has 30 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 26 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, and a washroom building with flush toilets, potable water, and coin-operated showers. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 55 feet long and 13 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs. Forest Rose Campground is located off of the Bowron Lake Road, along the east side of Williams Creek and a stone's throw from the Barkerville Highway. It's 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Forest Rose via the highway, or cross the highway on foot to access a well-groomed walking path. Forest Rose Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.
