Sidney Whale Watching

We offer three-hour tours everyday from March-October, as well as private charters for a variety of functions. Our captain/naturalist guides are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the local wildlife and area, and love to share their knowledge. S.S. Sicamous Museum and Heritage Park
The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving paddle wheeler in Canada. It is open as a heritage site, museum and wedding venue. Launched in 1914, the ship provided a vital means of transport to remote communities on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The SS Sicamous is operated by the SS Sicamous Society: a non-profit organization that works to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan.Funds from your admission go directly to the restoration of the SS Sicamous, and the other heritage ships in our care.
A Taste Of Victoria Food Tours
A Taste of Victoria Food Tours is an award-winning 2-hour guided historic walking and food tour through Chinatown, Old Town, and the Inner Harbour of beautiful Victoria, B.C., Canada. Starting at the Phillips Brewing Tasting Room, guests will participate in 6 food tastings while learning the vibrant history of this beautiful city. As of Feb. 2025, we will be offering two new tours! Alleyways and Ales is a craft beer tour, and Vistas & Views is a three-course progressive-style food tour. They run Sat-Mon. Kettle River Recreation Area
***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Kettle River Recreation Area and Campground will be fully operational and open as usual on May 6th. The Campground and Day-Use Area was minimally affected by the Rock Creek Fire. Facilities: 113 campsites, 1 large group site, public beach and day-use area, playground, shower, flush toilets, sani-station. Location: 5 km north of Rock Creek on Highway 33. Kettle River Recreation Area is one of the largest and most popular destination family campgrounds in the Okanagan - Boundary Region. Located minutes from amenities in Rock Creek, it is only 45 minutes from Osoyoos and 90 minutes from Kelowna. Campers will want to bring their bikes and floaties! This park offers fantastic biking/hiking opportunities and access to the historic Trans Canada Trail network. A bike pump track was recently added and is a hit with kids of all ages. In the summer months, campers walk their tubes and floaties to the Kettle River that flows alongside the campground, while others enjoy basking on the sandy beaches and swimming in the river. The iconic Kettle River Trestle at the day-use serves as a beautiful backdrop for park users and is a great photo opportunity! Reservations are strongly recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Spring and Fall campers enjoy large, sun-filled sites in a peaceful, pristine setting. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Open from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in September.

Crowsnest Vineyards
Crowsnest Vineyards was purchased by the Heinecke family in 1985 when the Winery, Restaurant and Guesthouse were launched. Named after the Crowsnest Highway #3, the family was an early contributor to the development of the Similkameen wine region and the wine and food has continuously evolved over the years. Siblings, Sascha and Anna Heinecke were instrumental in the evolution of the business and with the retirement of their parents, took over leadership in 2018 with a bold new vision. The vision is built on the bounty of the regionthe opportunity to express the spectacular local terroir from which we craft our wines and from which grows amazing, fresh ingredients included in our menus, pantry and bakery. Big Bar Guest Ranch
Big Bar Guest Ranch is proudly owned by Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation (SXFN), a community located in a semi-remote area on the the Fraser River, approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Williams Lake. Once two distinct bands, Canoe Creek (Stswecemc) and Dog Creek (Xgattem), our two Secwepemc communities joined together in the late 1800s. We honour our separate histories and our coming together. In the 1860s, more than 10,000 people traversed the Caribou Wagon Roadin search of a new life, land to raise cattle, or a gold strike. Harry Marriott, an immigrant from England, started working for the notorious Gang Ranch, one the largest ranch in Canada. Marriot acquired smaller ranches and land parcels, eventually consolidating them into the O.K Ranching Company, with access over 200,000 acres of cattle country and wilderness. Marriott partnered with his friend and Vancouver banker, George S Harrison and sectioned off 100 acres of their mutual land acquisition for his personal use. This was the beginning of Big Bar Guest Ranch. Much is unchanged since the Harrison family used Big Bar Ranch as their family retreat. The original family home, "The Harrison House", built in 1936 with logs and stone hewn and selected from the property, continues to provide a cozy retreat for guests on holiday relaxing in the great room in front of the fire place, or playing a cowboy song on the guitar in the music room. Big Bar guests have access to the original acreage of the OK Cattle Company, and can venture out across unspoiled pasture lands and forests. What has changed is that Big Bar Guest Ranch is now a part of our shared community vision of becoming an economically and politically self-sustaining community living Secwepemc culture, language, and traditions in a healthy and safe environment.
