Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks, and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions; art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art drop-in sessions are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. Established in 1971, the Sidney Museum has served the community of Sidney and North Saanich since then. Run by the Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums, the museum promotes awareness of local heritage through exhibits, programs, and collections. Its permanent collection consists of over 6000 items. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also features rotating monthly exhibits. These temporary exhibits include everything from an annual Quilting display, a Teddy Bear Christmas Display, and of course the famous 3-month long Lego Exhibit. The Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums is a non-profit organization, and the Museum is open to the public by donation.

The Steveston Museum building was built in 1905 as Stevestons first bank. Today, discover the people and moments that shaped Steveston Village. Continue into the Japanese Fishermens Benevolent Society Building to discover exhibits that explore history of Steveston's Japanese Canadian community.
