Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is closed for the season until May 15, 2021. Most green spaces and trails are still available for your enjoyment; however, the majority of visitor services are no longer available. We fish out of Tahsis inlet were we have the option of going out Nootka Sound or Esperenza sound. I have been fishing the west coast from Kenai, Alaska to Victoria, BC since 1978. The fishing in this area is the best all around fishing bar none on the west coast. The salmon highway that we regularly fish is known by every guide on the west coast. Salmon, Halibut and bottom fish.

The Silvery Slocan Museum, located in the former Bank of Montreal building on Main Street, has been a fixture in New Denver B.C. for over 100 years. The museum features exhibits about the area's heritage, including its mining, logging and agricultural history, as well as the recently restored Lancet motor launch. Admission is by donation.
