Hello Adventurers! Come join us for a kayaking adventure....some relaxation, fresh air & sunshine and exercise. Shake off the doldrums and immerse yourself in a quiet wilderness paddle. The scenery is spectacular here with mountain vistas, old growth rainforests, and our amazing wildlife. What better way to see all of this than to paddle the shores of beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada in a kayak. We are open from April to September. Adventuress offers fun wildlife tours, sunset paddles or multi-day adventures. Day tours and sunset paddles start as low as $69/person and include instruction, kayak and gear, dry bags and a certified guide; no experience necessary. The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is a community museum that explores the human and natural heritage of the region from Sooke to Port Renfrew. The museum also operates the local visitor information centre for the region. We have both exhibits in the main museum building and around the grounds. In the Summer we are open 7 days a week. In the off season we are closed Mondays and most Stat holidays. Starting the first Thursday in June, and running until first Thursday in September, we host a night market from 5pm to 8pm and museum stays open during this event.We also usually are closed over Christmas and the first week of January. The museum holds various special event during the year, has a gift shop with local arts & crafts, plus can do special meals for pre-booked tour groups.

The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park is located along the banks of the beautiful South Thompson River. The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park consists of both an inside and outside viewing experience for visitors. The tour of the museum offers a rich history of the life of the Secwepemc people. Once inside the museum visitors can view "The Land of the Secwepemc" DVD, and can then immerse themselves in the beautiful artefacts and displays within the four galleries that are offered.Afterwards, the Heritage park offers a trail of over a kilometre of archaeological remains of a 2,000 year old Secwepemc winter village. The winter village consists of 1 reconstructed winter pit-houses, and summer tule mat lodges which feature various unique food preparation structures. In addition; for viewing pleasure, is one of Kamloops Marshes that is filled with beautiful wildlife and visitors may even be able to get a glimpse of the Coyote (Skelep) and her pups that are currently living in the area.

We are a family oriented park and provide our guests with rides for all ages. For those thrill seekers out there, we have some of the most extreme waterslides such as the Valley of Fear, Bazooka Bowls, Speedslide and the Freefall. Food is available for purchase, and there are plenty of picnic benches and grassy areas for those of you who are not wanting to waterslide.
