Known for our friendly service, the Whistler Golf Club is a walkable, playable golf course the prides itself on being accessible for all. Our newly renovated Practice Facility is in the heart of the village and features 5 target greens, a practice green, full chipping and bunker area and C.P.G.A. Teaching Professionals. Shuswap Marina is a family operated business located in the interior of Beautiful British Columbia on Shuswap Lake. You can find us across from Copper Island. We offer year round moorage & cover winter storage, seasonal & temporary moorage, trailer storage and mini storage. At Shuswap Marina you will find a FULL Service Department ready and able to repair all makes and models of boat and motor from stem to stern! We also offer a boat towing service on the water to get you home when things go wrong! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks & a wide selection of water toys. At our Marina you will also find a summer store with everything you need to enjoy our beautiful lake, a full line of boat and fishing accessories and off course ICE CREAM! Please be aware that we are a pet friendly facility., so please never leave your pets in the car while you are visiting our Marina. The West Coast Railway Association presents the story of how the railways were a catalyst in the creation of Western Canadian communities and their economies. This is done primarily at the Railway Museum of British Columbia (formerly the West Coast Railway Heritage Park) in Squamish, BC, where the collection of 95 heritage railway locomotives and cars are exhibited in a typical small community setting. WCRA also operates the Locomotive 374 Pavilion in Vancouver.

The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is a community museum that explores the human and natural heritage of the region from Sooke to Port Renfrew. The museum also operates the local visitor information centre for the region. We have both exhibits in the main museum building and around the grounds. In the Summer we are open 7 days a week. In the off season we are closed Mondays and most Stat holidays. Starting the first Thursday in June, and running until first Thursday in September, we host a night market from 5pm to 8pm and museum stays open during this event.We also usually are closed over Christmas and the first week of January. The museum holds various special event during the year, has a gift shop with local arts & crafts, plus can do special meals for pre-booked tour groups.

This year she has twins and I seen them for the first time romping through a field of daisies. Crazy lucky I feel to live here and enjoy these moments.
