Inkaneep Provincial Park is nestled in tall riverside cottonwoods in a residential area. This park offers wonderful bird watching opportunities. Park users should use caution when hiking around this park; poison ivy is abundant in this area. The park is conveniently located just outside of the town of Oliver. Open from the last weekend in June through Labour Day.

Traditional salmon fishing for Chinook and Coho salmon are available from July through September in calm, secluded waters throughout Rivers Inlet. Halibut, Yellow Eye and Lingcod are also plentiful in these waters all summer. Heli-fishing for huge northern Coho salmon (20 lbs. plus) within the pristine rivers of the BC coastline is available during September and October, and wild Steelhead fishing from helicopters are available during April and May.Legacy Lodge offers exceptional fly fishing for Pacific salmon on the calm, protected waters of Rivers Inlet. The dense populations of Coho and Chinook in the waters surrounding Legacy Lodge are aggressive, and will take your fly..... and 200 feet of backing off your reel in seconds! Known around the globe for its magnificent scenery and unparalled salmon fishing, the waters of Rivers Inlet teem with some of the largest Coho and Chinook Salmon in the world. In fact, more 50 to 60 pound Chinook salmon are caught in this fjord-like inlet each year than in any other area in British Columbia. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.Rivers Inlet lies within the Great Bear Rainforest, the planets last large expanses of coastal temperate rainforest. At 8+ million acres, it is 5 times the size of Banff National Park and represents one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet. With an unmatched biological output of 500 tons per acre, it's 40 percent greater than tropical rain forests.

No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.
