The rare white pelican, bald eagles, loons and river otters are just some of the diverse species that you will find locally. A short, 2 hour drive down the famous Hill, or Freedom Highway, is the Bella Coola Valley and the Great Bear Rainforest. Don't forget your camera as you transition from pine plateau to coastal rainforest, as there will be many photo opportunities along the way including grizzly bears and snow capped mountains. SunLund By-The-Sea RV Park & Cabins, in Lund BC, offers self-contained cabins and 32 full-service RV sites, ocean access and free wifi. The showers and laundromat are very, very clean. A 3-minute walk to restaurants, grocery store, kayak rentals, marina, boat tours, water taxi, hotel, and other shops. Security gate, 24-hour staff First Aid certified. Ice, firewood, amenities and souvenirs are available at the office. SunLund is not a party campground. As a courtesy to other campers, no check-ins after 9pm and quiet time is 10pm.

Family Farm B&B is a hobby farm situated on a lovely 5 acres in the quiet town of Powell River, BC. In the presence of a host, guests can visit with various animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and goats. There are various free activities for adults and children (depending on season and availability), including goat-milking, cheesemaking, and vegetable gardening. Breakfast is included.
