Sink or Swim Scuba Inc is a PADI 5 star certified scuba dive shop located in Nanaimo, BC. Vancouver Island is rated top 10 for cold water diving, and we are grateful to dive all year round. As a shop, we love helping people explore our waters through scuba diving, and snorkeling. We offer courses, guided dives, as well as equipment sales, servicing, and rental.

Formally, Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre, TidePools is a unique collect-and-release aquarium located inside Gibsons Public Market in the seaside town of Gibsons, BC. TidePools houses 30 exhibits displaying natural habitats and local marine fish and invertebrates from the waters of the Howe Sound. This includes interactive touch tanks and scavenger hunts! The animals are collected by our team of professional SCUBA divers. The animals are then housed in the Centre for 6-18 months, depending on the species, and released back to the ocean with help from the entire community. Displays are always changing, allowing the diversity of the marine life we have in the Howe Sound to shine. We host formal education programs with schools, run summer camps and bring in experts to deliver engaging presentations on ocean topics. Come visit us soon!

The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a three-story, 30,400-square foot award-winning cultural centre designed to blend the traditional Squamish Longhouse with the Lil'wat Istken. Cultural Ambassadors share their knowledge and stories with guests, on a guided tour, augmenting the information shared throughout the centre's curated collection of cultural carvings, regalia, weaving and contemporary art. Kidtropolis is an interactive indoor playground focused on providing a great play experience for children and families. We love to inspire children to use their imagination to pretend play in our city. Children can be police officers, fire fighters, shop in our food market, take care of animals, take care of each other, fix a car, travel the world in our airplane and so much more! Kidtropolis offers drop in play, birthday parties, private events, Kids Night Out, Nerf Night, Day camps, Field Trips and so much more! We love a good party! Playing can work up a pretty good appetite - guests can purchase snacks and food items from our Munchies Cafe too! The Contemporary Art Gallery (CAG) is an independent, non-profit public art gallery and one of Canadas leading venues for contemporary art. Offering free access to everyone, we work with artists from Canada and around the world to produce exhibitions, off-site projects, residencies, learning, outreach, community engagement programs, events and publications. Each of these interdependent strands of programming varies in scale, duration and location to challenge how and where we might engage with contemporary visual art.
