During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway. Pynelogs Cultural Centre & Art Gallery is the cultural hub for the Columbia Valley. We feature visual art shows, concerts, art workshops, an indie film-series, outdoor music festival, and anything else artsy! Pynelogs is over a century old, located on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of Invermere. Its a quaint building with a long history. - Temporarily closed The Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club offers over 30 km of beautifully set cross country ski trails at Bull Mountain. We maintain a double set of classic ski tracks with a wide centre lane groomed for skate skiers. Grooming equipment consists of both a new Pisten Bully and a new Alpina Superclass snow machine. We can groom quickly and in both low and high snow conditions. Located 16km North of Williams Lake, off Highway 97 one km up Bull Mnt road we offer designated Dog trails, 3.5km of lit trails, until 10 p.m. nightly, an adventure park, terrain park, and a large stadium for hosting events. Our lodge is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, 3 accessible washrooms and a ski rental facility.
