A Truly Victorian Heritage InnAmethyst Inn is a fully-restored historic mansion dating from 1885. A few of our many features are 13 foot ceilings, period furniture and antiques. There are cosy fireplaces in most rooms. In the parlour we serve a full breakfast on antique crystal and china. To help you unwind there are jacuzzis in some of our rooms, and dont worry about your car: we have lots of secure, free parking on our property.
Situated in Penticton, at the gateway to the picturesque Naramata Bench, Upper Bench offers a unique experience to locals and visitors by offering pairings of their two passions: award winning wine and artisan cheese. Upper Bench believes great wine is made in the vineyard and farms sustainably, without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Upper Bench produces big bold reds and crisp dry whites. All of Upper Bench's wines come from the mature vines on our unique seven-acre vineyard and a select few other vineyards along the Naramata Bench. Upper Bench is also a CFIA registered creamery, using locally sourced, 100% pasteurized Canadian cows milk. All of our cheese are gluten and additive free, and we maintain our Safe Food for Canadians License. We produce washed, bloomy, natural rinds, lactic, and blue cheese, which are purposefully crafted to pair with our wines.
Each non-smoking guest room features a flat-screen HDTV with cable, mini-refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, work space, hairdryer, ironing facilities, and air-conditioning. The Auberge Kicking Horse Guest House was operating as a 3-room B&B before the pandemic. The Auberge now operates as a Guest House Vacation rental only. This is the perfect home away from home. The Auberge is located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Our guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen. You will enjoy the open concept large cozy house with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub set on an elevated deck, garage to store safely your sport equipment with a drying rack for ski boots and wet accessories. The house also offers a long driveway that can accommodate up to 4 cars and free wifi.
