Where History Comes to Life - Stroll down the streets of our 1920s community. Period costumed townsfolk welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Visitors can feel the heat of the fire as the blacksmith works at the forge, hear the rhythm of the platen press at the Burnaby Post, smell freshly ground coffee in the General Store, be a 1920s student in a one-room schoolhouse, watch the tinsmith cut, crimp & curl flat sheets of tin into useful household items. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.

What better way to see all of this than to paddle the shores of beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada in a kayak. We are open from April to September. Adventuress offers fun wildlife tours, sunset paddles or multi-day adventures. Day tours and sunset paddles start as low as $69/person and include instruction, kayak and gear, dry bags and a certified guide; no experience necessary. This year she has twins and I seen them for the first time romping through a field of daisies. Crazy lucky I feel to live here and enjoy these moments. Both cottages are now fully equipped with kitchenettes so you may have options to cook a light meal at home or for a special occasion please ask and I am happy to offer breakfast or late afternoon cheese plate served to you out in your hideaway.

At Coastal Springs Float Lodge we offer a relaxed, intimate fly-in salmon fishing experience. Our full service lodge has been in operation for over three decades and is located on the central British Columbia coast amid the splendor of Knight Inlet and Blackfish Sound. Our protected location lets us take advantage of glass calm waters unavailable to most other lodges in British Columbia. The culinary experience at the lodge is simply second to none. Nothing quite feels as satisfying as an incredible meal after a long day on the water slaying fish. We of course can accommodate any and all dietary requirements and restrictions if given notice.

Tons of fun for kids of all ages, the Blackcomb Base Adventure Zone is located in Whistler's Upper Village and includes a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy (some restrictions may apply).
