Bluewater Adventures offers once in a lifetime wildlife and coastal First Nations cultural experiences. Our multi-day, live aboard trips explore the remote wilderness of coastal British Columbia and Southeast Alaska. Our slow travel style immerses us in our surroundings as we keep an eye out for whales and other marine mammals, sea birds and bears, old-growth forests and ancient native villages. Experienced biologists, renowned resource people and our skilled crew engage guests on these inspirational learning journeys. With the west coast as our specialty, we focus on wildlife behaviour, ecology, conservation and sustainability, and local history. A small group size of 12 guests ensures quality, informality, and a hands-on experience for all aboard. Our displays include First Nations, pioneer items including an 1880's cabin, mining, logging & ranching. Displays are curated annually. Snowshoeing is a great way to explore winter landscapes. We cater to a wide variety of age groups, fitness and experience levels. If you have never been snowshoeing, fear not, if you can walk you can snowshoe. Join us on a guided tour through beautiful snowshoe designated trails in the sub-alpine forests of the Selkirk Mountains. Tour includes snowshoes, tea, snacks and a gondola ride.

During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club is a family friendly cross country ski area. We offer 30 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing as well as a 4.5 km trail for snowshoeing. The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club can trace its roots back to 1891. Today, the club is a registered non-profit organization. Almost all of the services provided by the club are accomplished by dedicated volunteer members.
