Homalco First Nation have been the stewards of their traditional territory of Bute Inlet for generations and the cultural and historical significance of this area spans thousands of years. Our guided tours take guests through the Salish Sea to Bute Inlet and along the Orford River, where grizzly bear populations thrive during the salmon run. We also offer marine wildlife and cultural tours all of which are interwoven with knowledge from our traditional way of life. Our commitment to guests is to share our traditional lands, the share stories of our people and to create a sense of connection with our indigenous culture. We are located on the beautiful Naramata Bench in the heart of the Okanangan Valley. At LA FRENZ, we believe the quality in the bottle begins in the vineyard. Cutting edge and meticulous vineyard practices are used in combination with varieties tailored to the unique soils and micro climates of our vineyard sites to produce the vibrant and intense grape characters found only in the Okanagan Valley. The potential of the resulting fruit, using experience and careful stewardship throughout the vinification process, is maintained and enhanced to create exceptional wines that truly reflect the grape variety and vineyard site. We welcome you to our unique wine shop overlooking Lake Okanagan. From April through October, we are open Thursday- Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday), 10am to 5pm for tastings and purchases. Join us on our patio for a seated tasting experience or sample at the tasting bar. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged.

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre: Come and explore our exciting Nordic ski trails in beautiful Golden, BC! We provide 33 km of groomed trails and a 4km snowshoe loop to enjoy. Whether youre a seasoned Nordic skier or its your first time on the trails, we have a variety of terrain to suit all abilities. These trails are maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club in agreement with Recreation Sites and Trails BC. Situated only 1km from the popular Kicking Horse Resort, Nordic skiing is a fun activity to add to your winter holiday bucket list. Hop onto the 5km novice classic ski trail at the Golden golf course. These flowy ski trails are maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club. Please be sure to make a trail fee donation at the trailhead.

Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum revives Prince George's captivating history back to an era when the railway was the region's lifeline and forestry was becoming BC's future. Experience the raw power and beauty of the world-famous Skookumchuck Narrows (Sechelt Rapids). Ride into the heart of the action in the same vessel trusted by the Canadian Coast guard for a truly one-of-a-kind adventure. So much more than a quick trip in and out of the rapids. We go beyond Skookumchuck Narrows to navigate Seal Rock, Hidden Lagoon, East Point Island, and to view ancient Indigenous paintings. Unlike other tours, ours aim to take you where the locals go for a full hour on the water. Not all touring boats are able to safely get this close to The Skook. A trip to the Sunshine Coast isnt complete without visiting Skookumchuck Narrows. Bring the whole family, our tour accommodates ages 5 and up.

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. O'Keefe Ranch was founded in 1867 by Cornelius O'Keefe. His family lived on site for 110 years before it was opened as an historic ranch, meaning it still houses one of the most complete collections of one family's stuff (from the Victorian and Edwardian eras) in all of the province. Today O'Keefe Ranch is operated by a non-profit society and is a registered charity. Come visit us during our open season from May to October - stroll along the boardwalk, visit our original buildings (set up as they were more than 100 years ago!), visit the Greenhow museum, and go say hello to our many farm animals.
