Whispering Spruce is a beautifully treed and shaded campground with many desirable features such as free wifi, childrens playground and firepits at each site. We are in the heart of Kicking Horse Country and are conveniently located a short distance to the east of Golden on the Trans Canada highway.

This spacious 2-bedroom mountain style suite has everything that you need. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms each with one double bed and two twin beds. Each room is a perfect size for a small family. The fenced backyard is a wonderful place to enjoy a barbecue or have a small campfire.

We are a family style motel situated on Cortes Island, in beautiful British Columbia. Our motel offers ten comfortable and affordable rooms (most rooms have kitchenettes). We welcome families, pets, children, individuals with varying mobility and anyone who wants to experience our beautiful island community. We are situated centrally, close to all amenities and several of our island's most popular hiking trails, beaches & lakes. Picnic tables, BBQs, a campfire pit and hammock are all provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I have a 24 ft fully Transport Canada certified fishing boat with all the amenities. Safety gear, fishing gear, toilet on board. It can fish 4 people very comfortably. Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.
