Spectacular views of mountain peaks, Beaver, Eagles, Osprey, Herons and even Black Bears are regular sights that will have you eagerly wondering whats around the next bend. Unlike an amusement park ride River of Golden Dreams trips allow you to be an active participant, one of the reasons people keep coming back to paddle the river. In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided. Our River trips have limited availability and often sell out, please pre book to assure your spot. Located at Lakeside Park minutes from Whistler Village.

Explore the waters and shoreline surrounding Alder Bay on a three and a half hour guided kayak tour. Using stable double kayaks, these kayak tours are suitable for everyone even those with no prior kayaking experience. As we quietly kayak along the shore we often see bald eagles dotting the trees and curious harbour seals popping their heads above the water as we pass.

The W.A.C. Bennett Dam is one of the world's largest earth-fill structures. Enjoy the spectacular view from our Visitor Centre and fun exhibits that showcase dam construction, wildlife in the area, how we turn water into clean electricity, and more. One of Pentictons unique and favourite summer activities is floating down the River Channel. Visitors are invited to rent inner tubes and rafts and take a leisurely ride down the 7 kilometre long Channel to Skaha Lake. The River Channel is located between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake. The float starts at the Coyote Cruises launch site at 215 Riverside Drive. If you need floating tubes and a ride back to your vehicle Coyote Cruises will provide both. If you are looking to rent a tube or raft or simply require transportation once you are done floating the Channel, Coyote Cruises can help you out. Pick up is at the end point only in 2020.
