Averill Creek is a low intervention winery on Vancouver Island. Our aim is to produce honest wines that reflect our site and the vintage, but that first and foremost give pleasure. By intervening less, we are able to provide a clear segue from vineyard to glass.

Summit River Lodge will take your breath away from the moment you turn onto the property. The Albreda Glacier greets you in the Skyline which can be seen throughout the property along with glacier fed Camp Creek which winds throughout 40 acres. The lodge is a well maintained traditionally built log-home. Ocean-front Inn located on the Salish Sea (Strait of Juan de Fuca) overlooking the Olympic Mountains. Located about 60 minutes from Victoria on the Southwest coast of Vancouver Island. All rooms have refrigerators, as well as coffee and tea. Our lush garden is surrounded by majestic old-growth forest and a lovely stream that runs along our beautiful trail to a very private beach. Book your room overlooking the ocean or the rain forest. Our Inn is within the Pacific Marine Circle Route next to Muir Creek beach in Shirley. The Chetwynd Visitor Centre is conveniently located and has ample parking for RVs. The Visitor Centre is within walking distance of many of our 170+ chainsaw carvings sculptures including the annual competition carvings. Basic facilities are public washrooms, high-speed internet with coffee lounge and is pet friendly. Bikes and sport equipment is available for free use during your visit.
