We at the Town of Lake Cowichan Visitor Centre will strive to ensure that all of our visitors have a wonderful experience in the Cowichan Lake area. The Centre can provide information on attractions and events in the area. We will strive to assist you in making your visit to Lake the best it can be. The Cowichan Lake area has some of the best hiking trails, water recreation opportunities, and campsites. Visit us and discover all that the Cowichan Lake area has to offer!

Beautiful campground bordering Swift Creek on the edge of Valemount, B.C., Close enough to walk into the town of Valemount. We have 42 service sites with power, water, picnic tables, fire pits and 30 tent sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Washrooms newly renovated in 2013, free hot showers, laundry facilities, sani dump in campground, free WiFi, sell bundled wood and have a small store in office. The Chinook salmon spawn in the creek in early August to mid August and it is a sight to see!

Our 2-bedroom, bed and breakfast is in beautiful West Courtenay, which is approximately 90 minutes north of the Nanaimo ferries (via the 19A Oceanview route, or 70 minutes (via the Inland Highway), 15 minutes from the Comox Valley Airport and about 15 minutes from the Powell River Ferry Terminal. There are 6 golf courses, including the world-class Crown Isle Golf & Country Club. Beautiful parks and hiking trails just a short walk or drive from Arbour Cottage B & B. Mount Washington, Strathcona Provincial Park and Paradise Meadows only 32 minutes away. B & B within driving distance to unique shops in downtown Courtenay. Two bedrooms available, both queen. Low Season (October to April) $120; High Season (May to September $130 (breakfast included). Shared bath. Patio available (weather permitting) for our guests use. Strathcona Provincial Park, designated in 1911, is the oldest provincial park in British Columbia.
