Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia. With over 75 years of Boyd family legacy, a visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. Cottonwood House was built in 1864 offering accommodation, meals, hardware and provisions to many on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville or Quesnel. Today, this 26 acre wheelchair accessible provincial heritage site is a tourist destination offering heritage interpretation, hiking, and day use facilities.

Kelowna Yacht Club offers a comprehensive range of water sports activities suitable for all ages, starting from 4 years old through to adults. We provide keelboat lessons, encompassing a variety of experiences such as sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Additionally, our Kids Summer Camps present an exciting opportunity for younger enthusiasts. For special occasions, we offer tailored services including birthday party packages, private lessons, and exclusive sailing tours. Our wake surf courses, guided by professional instructors, ensure a safe and enriching experience for every participant.

Timberline Lodges is the ultimate on-mountain condo complex at Fernie Alpine Resort. Situated within walking distance of the chairlifts and village base area, the complex consists of six lodges with options from a studios through to 2-bedroom + loft condos. Fernie Lodging Company (Fernie's largest accommodation provider) manages vacation rentals in the complex and has an office/front desk on-site. Amenities at Timberline Lodges include an outdoor heated swimming pool, six common hot tubs, a fitness room, BBQs, sauna, games room and an on-site day spa offering massage and other spa treatments. Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Visitor Hours: Tuesday Saturday, 10:00 am 3:00 pm. Open March 20 November 28 Fishing pond: registered program participants only. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. Free rod and tackle loan is available from this location.
