Often referred to as the best place to stay on the Alaska Highway, the Northern Rockies Lodge is the newest and most impressive hotel in the Liard River (hot springs), Toad River and Muncho Lake region. We are located on Mile 462 of the historic Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake. As a remote lodge, we pride ourselves in maintaining a high level of service for our guests in the middle of the untouched wilderness of Muncho Lake. Our facilities include a hotel, dining room and lounge, cabins, lakeshore chalets, RV Park, gas station, picnic areas, sauna, playground, floatplane dock, boat ramp and more. All of our facilities are available for our guests including Wifi. We are proud to be able to provide our guests with most of the modern comforts despite being so remote. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates year round without any government subsidies and we were able to build over the last 3+ decades a self-sufficient village in the wilderness for you: We generate our own power, our own water and sewage systems. In addition to providing overnight accommodations for the Alcan travellers, we are also a popular vacation destination for many guests. Our beautiful remote wilderness lodge is located at the shore of Williston Lake, 65 km by boat from Hudson's Hope. Pick up in Hudson's Hope is included. We also provide great guided wilderness adventure for individuals, couples and smaller groups (up to 8 persons). All trips are unique and individual, when it comes to accomodation, activities and duration. We can take you into the Rocky Mountains on horse back in tent camp and spend the days riding and hiking - we can go fishing for huge trouts on the lake - we can explore the area on side-by-sides, and maybe see bears, moose, elk and goats. Located in the heart of the Village, close walking distance to the public beach, playgrounds, ball fields, shopping & restaurants. Sites are treed, 10 of the 40 sites are powered, additional 28 overflow sites. Showers, water fill-ups and sani-dump on site. Campground open May-Oct.

Is situated in Deer Park which is a modern, quiet subdivision of Mill Bill. We are a leisurely walk to shopping, marina, and to Brentwood College. Close to a number of family restaurants to choose from. We are a fifteen minute drive from Golfing at Arbutus Ridge or Cowichan Valley Golf Course. A warm welcome awaits you at Shirleys Cozy Nest, with two large rooms which have comfortable queen sized beds. Continental or full cooked breakfast. At the end of the day relax in the secluded hot tub. .
