Founded in 1981 by the Dharma Sara Satsang, in honor of master yogi Baba Hari Dass from India the Centre is the west coast of Canadas longest running spiritual and wellness retreat Centre. Here, the magic of our 69 acres of land weaves together with the stories of those transformed by it and the spirit of selfless service is sewn into every tiny detail. It all happens here.

An intimate oasis tucked away in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the Spa at the Wedgewood Hotel offers an elegant boutique retreat for rejuvenation, wellness, and beauty. We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. This completely restored Hudsons Bay Company post, located on the shores of Stuart Lake, was an economic powerhouse of trade and commerce in the 19th Century. It is the largest group of original wooden buildings depicting the fur trade in Canada and portrays the relationship between the fur traders and the Carrier First Nation. Costumed interpreters provide a first hand look at how people lived, ate, worked and died more than a century ago.
