Opened to the public in 2013, the Fernie Museum is located in the heart of historic downtown Fernie. The museum offers two floors of exhibits, a gift shop, archives and visitor information services. The main floor permanent exhibit highlights the story of the Fernie region, from the use of the area by the Ktunaxa to underground and open pit mining to the development of Fernie as a four-season resort community. The second floor gallery features rotating art and history exhibits. The Museum also offers a range of programs throughout the year, including popular themed walking tours during the summer. Museum staff are on hand to help guide your paths as your explore our museum, community and the environment around us whether it is on the ski hill or on our many hiking or biking trails. Public washrooms are available and the facility offers barrier free access.

Saturna is the least-developed of the main southern Gulf Islands. Almost half the island is protected as part of Gulf Islands National Park. The Saturna Lodge is all about the experience. The Mill House Restaurant will reopen the UBQ dinner service, to the public, May 1, 2019.

Every Friday morning, Main Street transforms into a bustling social hub for the community as market vendors and locals gather for the Lillooet Farmers' Market. At the market, you'll find a variety of locally-grown fruits and vegetables and stalls offering freshly baked goods, delicious canned preserves and organic meats, and beautiful Indigenous art.

The Artists Point offers two large guest suites which include a living room, a bedroom and a private bathroom, totalling 60sqm/645sqft. Our property is 2.3 acres with an ocean view, only 3 minutes to a beautiful peaceful beach. Our fully equipped condo offers 1400 square feet of living space on 2 levels. We offer 2 Queen size bedrooms, 2 full 4-piece baths, kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 balconies, and on-site laundry facility. The Main living area is located on the Top Floor and the second hotel style bedroom and bath are on the second floor. Our condo is surrounded by tall cedar trees and has breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands and the Stuart Channel. The Ocean and beach are just 20 steps away from our condo. Your will enjoy panoramic views from our large ocean-side heated pool and hot tub. The Hot Tub is heated and open all year round. The Pool will open on or around May 15th and close September 30th. The private dock offers seasonal boat moorage and is great for crabbing and fishing. Inn of the Sea is an ideal year round vacation getaway. The resort is beautifully landscaped with rose gardens and lush greenery. During your stay you may see playful Otters and Seals, Hummingbirds, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, and maybe even Orcas swimming through the channel. Time can be spent beachcombing, checking out the starfish, kayaking, fishing and crabbing, or just lazing in and around the heated pool and hot tub. The property has a playground for the kids, a beach-side fire pit, bar-b-que patios as well as a private tennis court.
