Settle in to our off-grid wilderness lodge for an afternoon of kayak skill and safety training before embarking on your kayaking adventure. Meals (both at the lodge and around the campfire) are prepared with organic produce fresh from our garden, eggs from our chickens, local seafood, and home-baked goods. We offer fun and rewarding adventured for all kayaking and fitness abilities. New kayakers are welcome but we also offer exciting challenges for experienced paddlers. We use high quality equipment and our certified kayak guides are friendly, experienced and professional.

Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. Sink or Swim Scuba Inc is a PADI 5 star certified scuba dive shop located in Nanaimo, BC. Vancouver Island is rated top 10 for cold water diving, and we are grateful to dive all year round. As a shop, we love helping people explore our waters through scuba diving, and snorkeling. We offer courses, guided dives, as well as equipment sales, servicing, and rental.

Welcome to our Western Red Cedar Post and Beam duplex cabin with 1,200 foot wrap around deck, amazing mountain vista views on 172 acres of Northern BC wilderness. Located approximately 109 kms north of Terrace, BC in the beautiful Nass Valley, home of the Nisga'a Nation. The east end guest cabin boasts 3 private bedrooms with open concept living/dining/kitchen area, 27 ft. vaulted ceilings and access to many trails. An additional 2 bedrooms with 17 ft. vaulted ceilings and a shared bath are available on the second floor of the west end dining cabin. Breakfast is included with your room and lunches and dinners will be provided upon request at an additional cost.

Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Visitor Hours: Tuesday Saturday, 10:00 am 3:00 pm. Open March 20 November 28 Fishing pond: registered program participants only. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. Free rod and tackle loan is available from this location.

We are only a few minutes from Mayfair Shopping Centre which features over upscale 120 shops. Head to the Inner Harbour area and go on a whale watching tour walk through Fishermans Wharf Park or view the exhibits at the Royal British Columbia Museum.
