Rooms facing the North side have access to the glistening waters of Campbell River, where one can see seals and fishes jumping out of the waters. In addition to make your relaxation utterly perfect, there is an in-suite sauna room! Relax your fatigue and weary body in a soothing sauna before the warm & fluffy bed. At Chateau Riverside, we are committed to making all our guests as comfortable as possible. The chateau has free high-speed wireless internet (300mbps) which provides high speed connections when you need to make online calls to whenever you wish, and a 50 flat screen TV with cable for each room. For our guests who wish to stay a longer period, we have two units equipped with in-suite laundry machines. We also have a wheel-chair accessible unit. We are a family style motel situated on Cortes Island, in beautiful British Columbia. Our motel offers ten comfortable and affordable rooms (most rooms have kitchenettes). We welcome families, pets, children, individuals with varying mobility and anyone who wants to experience our beautiful island community. We are situated centrally, close to all amenities and several of our island's most popular hiking trails, beaches & lakes. Picnic tables, BBQs, a campfire pit and hammock are all provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Days Inn Nanaimo is located off Trans-Canada Highway 1 with easy access to the Nanaimo Airport and both BC Ferry Terminals. Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. We now offer farm to table BBQ in our outdoor kitchen during tasting hours.
