The Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery is a multi-faceted organization with a history museum exhibition, regional archives, two contemporary gallery spaces and a fabulous gift shop. Fly Fishing charters on the Columbia River for big Rainbow Trout! Single handed, dry fly and spey fishing are a few of the techniques we offer. Join us in our custom 18ft jet boats and experienced guides. Rods and gear available for use. We look forward to fishing with you! Main seasons are Spring and Fall, but also open in summer and side seasons. Experienced fisherman and novices welcome.

Facilities: 14 campsites, day-use area, public beach, rustic picnic cabin, water hand pump. Location: 26 km west of Castelgar on Highway 3. An easily-accessible, roadside park with a sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming and convenient site for day-users and campers. The park is a popular overnight stop for RVer's and also provides day-use for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It's picturesque lake makes it a great spot to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, and nordic skiing in the winter. Grizzly Bear sightings are common in Spring and early Summer. Open from May 15 through the last weekend in September.
