Located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Sliding Centre is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility. Public visitors can try Whistler's most unique activities, passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and public skeleton (winter). Aspiring athletes can join "Learn to Slide" programming for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge within the BC Sliding Development Centre. The facility is also a National Training Centre and popular training and competition venue for athletes from all over the world. Each year, races for all levels from beginners to the elite of sliding athletes, such as World Cups and World Championships are held on the Olympic legacy venue. Year-round, Olympic Sightseeing is available free of charge through a self-guided interpretive tour. The Whistler Sliding Centre is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds from public programs go directly towards growing sport and supporting current and future athletes!

Come to the northern edge of the Great Bear Rainforest on British Columbias north coast, to the Khutzeymateen. Here, within the traditional territory of the Tsimshian nations, lives a wild population of coastal grizzly bears. Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.

Our 5,000 square foot storefront is a haven for readers. Impeccably curated and organized and staffed by friendly book lovers, The Book Man is Book Heaven on Earth. Creekside Golf Course is now open for the season. The standard hole size in golf is just over four inches, at our Creekside course, the holes are nearly double that circumference. Just think of the hole-in-one opportunities! The accessibility of this course attracts a whole spectrum of players. Designed by expert golf architect Bill Newis, Creekside Golf Course opened in 2001 and has since been attracting beginners, families as well as seasoned golfers who wish to improve upon their game. Creeksides longest hole is 145 yards (roughly a sixth of the length of the average course), providing beginners with a relaxed experience and giving a confidence boost for the skilled golfer.

Salt Spring Brewing is located in the Fulford Valley on beautiful Salt Spring Island. All of our products are brewed, canned and distributed from our Island location. Come join us in the trees for a tasting!

Open May to October Ride on an operating Heritage Railway. We are open Saturdays and Sundays May through October, from 9.30am until the last train returns at 4.00pm. Come out and see what we have to offer and go for a ride on the train.

Access to the bridge can be found off the Canyon View Trail. Adventurous park users will be awe-struck at the views found from this newly-built attraction! Firewood is available for sale from the Park Operator. Reservations are recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Reservations for this park are accepted for arrival dates from mid-May Labour Day. Elk Falls is open year-round (Winter Camping $11/night).
