Accessible only by boat, it ís a secluded wilderness spot surrounded by forested islands and the waterways of the Queen Charlotte Strait. A visit to God's Pocket provides not only spectacular cold water diving, but also an opportunity for kayaking, hiking, shore walks, wildlife viewing, including whale watching.
For some people it is simply paradise, for others the best fly fishing spot in the area, yet others love the tranquility of our cozy resort. The Flora's/Bamfield Inn property is a combination of 3 buildings. Newly renovated, the 12 'room' inn (in the back) has private accommodations and bathrooms, with a common kitchen and living room area for guests to use. The front building hosts an ocean front event room and family style accommodation unit for those that want to be right on the water and at the boardwalk. The middle and largest building on the property is a 100 years old, with TONS of history, and will soon to be a restaurant, a bar and have 8 upper suites/rooms (opening approx. May 2024). The building has 2 large decks overlooking the channel to enjoy, one being the FLORA's restaurant and bar, and 4 water view rooms are available as well. If you want to come fishing, visit a unique, small, beautiful west coast town, hike to Cape Beale, rest after finishing the famous West Coast trail, relax on an amazing beach, host an event/wedding/family get together/retreat or meeting, then this is THE PLACE FOR YOU!

Blue River Campground is located in beautiful Blue River, British Columbia, Canada. We can be found on Highway #5, halfway between Jasper, Alberta and Kamloops, British Columbia. Blue River is best known for its tranquillity and spectacular scenery. The areas rivers, mountains, and lakes provide a vast playground for the outdoor enthusiast. The campground has 42 sites that can accommodate RVs and tents. Water, electricity and full hook-ups are available. Many sites are convenient pull-thru, which can accommodate the longest vehicles. There are five camping cabins which can sleep up to six in a cozy fashion and have lights, plugins, and beds. We also offer canoe, kayak and standard paddleboard for rent for those who want to explore scenic lakes in Blue River!

We have an abundance of information including various maps of the area and beyond, accommodations, restaurants, attractions, tours, local events, tide guides, trail maps, transportation guides and schedules, and more!
Since 1986 we have been operating tours in the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait (Robson Bight), and Blackfish Sound. This area is considered the best place to find Northern resident orca. Large numbers of humpback whales also congregate here during the summer months. Other marine mammals such as Biggs (transient) orca, minke whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dalls porpoises, sea otters, Northern sea lions, and harbour seals are regularly sighted on tours. We take 11 people maximum and pride ourselves in offering a more personalized approach to whale watching. The small group sizes offer more intimacy with the wildlife and an opportunity to interact with the skipper. The boat has a marine toilet onboard and provides enough space that when stationary, guests are welcome to move about the boat to take photographs and enjoy the dynamic scenery and wildlife. It is a perfect whale watching platform. We offer ethical, educational, and meaningful experiences.
