Castlegar's Golf Club is a championship 18-hole, semi-private course situated above the Columbia River. Our facilities include a fully-stocked golf shop, excellent practice facilities, full service Clubhouse & a new 20 site RV Park. We also offer the following amenities: private lessons, grass tee driving range, practice greens, club rentals & power carts. In 2010, we hosted the BC Amateur and in 2011 the BC Senior games. The championship Castlegar Golf Course has hosted numerous Provincial and National tournaments. A must play on any Kootenay vacation; come and stay in our great new RV Park. Your day will start with a scenic jet boat trip down Quesnel Lake to the Cariboo Mountains Park and into the wetlands of the Mitchell and Penfold Rivers. This eco system is as it has been for all time. Your senses will be rewarded with sights of Salmon swimming in the crystal clear river, beavers swimming with tree branches in their mouth. Rounding a bend in the river you can spot grizzly bears feeding on the returning salmon. Large Giant Ancient Cedar Forests surround you so you have the chance to hike in un-spoiled wilderness. This adventure can be extended for up to a week by staying at our out post cabin at the end of the North arm of Quesnel Lake. The river will be full of red sockeye salmon. You will need to bring a telephoto lens for those shots of a life time. You will see Grizzly cubs with thier mothers as well as big male grizzlies.

Caravan Farm Theatre is a not-for-profit professional outdoor theatre company based on an 80 acre farm near Armstrong BC. Hailed as a national treasure, Caravan Farm Theatre has been entertaining audiences young & old, from near & far, since 1978.

Wild Pacific Charters provides Fully Guided offshore BC Salmon Fishing and Halibut Fishing Charters. Our 30 foot Grady White has up to date equipment, electronics and we have over 20 years experience in saltwater fishing with extensive knowledge of local areas. All fishing gear/tackle supplied, fully insured and licensed. We invite you to enjoy a day of fishing for fantastic BC salmon, Pacific halibut and various cod fish.

Located 96 kms north of Fort Nelson, Tetsa River Regional Park offers 25 private, unserviced forested camp sites, day use area with picnic shelter and a children's playground. Foot access to the beautiful Tetsa River provides an opportunity for fly or rod fishing and wildlife viewing. Camp fees include firewood and are $20 per night, and by reservation only. Open May-September annually. Please note that picnic shelter and playground are closed under COVID-19 measures.

Manning Park Resort is a four season, family-friendly resort in the heart of the Cascade Mountains that offers year-round camping and accommodation; hiking, biking, canoeing and paddling; skiing/snowboarding; 64km of cross-country ski trails; snowshoeing; and an outdoor ice rink. It has full Resort amenities, including a variety of accommodations, restaurant, pub, swimming pool and recreational activities, all in a beautiful natural setting. The Resort is within E.C. Manning Provincial Park, which means there are incredible hiking trails, and multi-purpose trails for biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross- and back-country trails in the winter. In winter, our downhill ski and Nordic areas have a great progression for all levels, and we see consistently great conditions, due to our higher elevation and by virtue of being slightly more inland than the Coastal Mountains. Nestled in Sinclair Canyon, Radium Hot Springs, located in British Columbias Kootenay National Park, includes a hot soaking pool and cooler swimming pool. Whether you are visiting the local golf courses, skiing, snowboarding, or just passing through, the Radium Hot Springs are not to be missed! Radium Hot Springs mineral water is uniquely odourless and clear, making this the perfect place for a relaxing soak. Gaze up at the rock cliffs see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The kids will enjoy swimming and diving in the cooler swimming pool (29C). There is so much to enjoy year-round, including nearby hiking and walking trails, picnic areas and all of the amenities of a full-service town.

Deep Cove Kayak Centre is Vancouvers premier paddling location. With one of the largest fleets in Canada, we offer rentals of high quality single and double ocean kayaks, stand up paddleboards (SUP), and surf skis that will suit a wide range of paddling styles and experience levels.
