Hastings House Country House Hotel is a boutique seaside resort, spa and gourmet restaurant on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. The Sussex-style Manor House and eighteen unique guest rooms and suites, each with its own décor and history, are situated amid twenty-two acres of abundant gardens and grounds. All stays include a fresh cut flower bouquet from our gardens upon arrival, fresh house-made muffins delivered each morning, a full, made-to-order breakfast in the gourmet dining room from 8:00 to 10:00am, and complimentary shuttle service upon arrival and departure. Featuring a relaxed ambience with stunning views over Ganges Harbour, Manor Dining offers a superb culinary experience and an impressive wine list. Swiss Executive Chef Marcel Kauer never fails to delight the palate while also providing a feast for the eyes with his exquisite presentations. The hotel and restaurant are open mid-March through mid-November and closed for the winter season. Wellspring Spa is open year round.

Located at the gateway to Desolation Sound, these unique and fully furnished oceanfront chalets are in a park like setting on an eight acre waterfront property. Our chalets are ideal for your family vacation, reunions, weddings or that perfect getaway. Each chalet boasts a unique individual design. Interiors done in local wood. All our chalets have a full kitchen, living & dining areas, and a deck. The chalets are of different sizes and the larger ones can accommodate up to 8 persons. A whole range of activities offered by local outfitters, can be booked through the resort. The Laughing Oyster Restaurant is just down the road from us and offer great meals with a West Coast flavor.

We have a good selection of history books, souvenir clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

Tallheo Cannery Guest House is on the site of salmon cannery that closed down 30 years ago. It's at the bottom of a 3000 metre mountain with a glacier beside a deep fjord. Sensational views across the bay. Garrett the owner picks you up in a boat and it's a five minute ride from Bella Coola to the cannery with its tumbledown buildings. Guests stay in the former ladies' bunkhouse.
