Browse our Gift Shop where you'll find exclusive brands like Murchie's Tea and Rogers' Chocolates. Vintage ski patches and t-shirts and heritage posters and prints reproduced from the archives. In spring and summer months visit our public garden and picnic area while your children play at the sandbox. Downtown Historic Walking tours and Cemetery Tours can be scheduled by appointment.
Cabana Beach Campground & RV Park
Operates approx May 15 - Sept 15 each summer. A small, family-run campground located on Osoyoos Lake, near the Town of Osoyoos in BC Canada. Established in the 1960's this campground has always catered to families, seniors, couples and single travellers. The campground accepts tents, small/medium-sized RVs and also offers to those needing a simple budget sleeping unit several camping cabins and bedroom cabanas - these rooms comes with beds, mattresses, lights, electricity, a fridge, sink, mini-stove, and outdoor patio (weekly stays only in summer). Although an older park, Cabana Beach Campground has unique features that you will not likely find at older/rustic or provincial campsites : the 3-sided "kitchen cabana" shelters come with a picnic table, sink, light, and elec outlet and are included at most of the tent sites, with optional fridge rental available. Some modern amenities are also:fully tiled, coin-op showers, free use of central wifi, free use of air-compressor hose to quickly fill up your air-beds, bike tires, and all your floating water toys. Park owners live on-site. This park has strictly enforced common-sense campsite rules - No noise or behaviours which annoy or disturb other campers. For this reason, radios or tv's must be off by 10 pm, and "quiet time" is at 11 pm . There is one (perhaps) unusual rule - No Dogs are accepted. No fires either - but the main reason is there is often a complete regional fire-ban all summer long. Campers can still bring a propane fire pit. Also a campstove or barbecue for grilling!

Audain Art Museum
Established in 2016, the Audain Art Museum is a leading arts organization founded upon the major philanthropic gift of Michael Audain and Yoshiko Karasawa. Located in Whistler, British Columbia and designed by the internationally-renowned firm Patkau Architects, the AAM boasts a comprehensive Permanent Collection of the provinces most celebrated artists. Exemplifying the richness of cultural difference in Canada, the collection takes visitors on a transformative visual journey from the late 18th century to present. Highlights include hereditary Haida Chief James Harts 'The Dance Screen (The Scream Too),' an exceptional collection of historical and contemporary Indigenous masks, the largest permanent display of paintings by Emily Carr, and key examples of the Vancouver photo conceptualism movement. We have a giant tide pool, which acts as a hands on aquarium for the kids to see the many species of marine life that gets caught up every tide changes. The Deep Bay Marine Field research station is near by that has live tanks, and tours that explains about the many species they will find. Qualicum Breeze Beach Resort is a short 5 minute walk from town where you will find grocery's, liquor store, bank. pharmacy. Also you can browse through the Salish Sea Art studio and the intriging gift shop. There is also a Pub, Legion and number of local restarants to visit. .Centrally located for day trips to many points of interest on Vancouver Island. Hike on trails through pristine local Provincial Parks like Cathederal Grove, Little Qualicum Falls, or Rathtrevor Provincial Park or explore the Horne Lake Caves. Numerous shops in Qualicum Beach or Coombs on the way to Parksville. Stop and enjoy Coombs Country Market where it is known for the goats on the roof, also notable is the delicious ice cream and culinary experience at Cuckoo's italian Restaurant. Book a round of golf at one of the sixteen golf courses within an hours drive. Or perhaps a day touring the winery's and brewery's that dot the Islands coast line. Extreme Mountain bike trails are found on Mt. Washington during the Summer, and is great skiing and snow boarding during the winter.
