Coastal Black is a family owned and operated fruit winery, meadery and cidery. All our wines and ciders are hand-crafted on site. Festivals include access to the lower farm where you can visit our miniature highland cow and other farm animals, have fun on our huge bouncing pillow, play backyard games and more. We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Open from May through September! Online booking available March 1st. Located on the shores of beautiful Comox Lake, the Cumberland Lake Park Campground consists of a total of 59 sites ; 20 are serviced (electricity and water), 6 are RV unserviced, and 33 are unserviced. Site options consist of forested and lakefront choices. There are also two group sites that will accommodate up to 25 people and is available for booking all summer. Max stay is 14 days during July and August. Monthly rates are available in May, June and September.
