The Haven is a not-for-profit charitable organization located on beautiful Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. Accommodations range from rustic cabins tucked away among the trees to suites overlooking quiet coastline waters. You will feel far from the hustle and bustle of the city, even though Gabriola Island is only 20 minutes by ferry from Nanaimo, or a 20 minute float plane ride from Vancouver. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), fitness gym, and on-site massage and other bodywork. While you are here, take a walk on beachfront trails, visit local art galleries and shops, participate in morning yoga and movement, or slide into a comfortable chair to catch up on some reading.

With stays of 2 nights or more you can have the American Plan for $250 a night per person. This includes accommodation and all your amazing meals. Also access to all the fun activities on the 100 acre riverside ranch. We have a wide variety of packages to choose from. We offer a housekeeping plan (just accommodation), American plan (accommodation + food), or a full, all-inclusive package where we take care of all your meals, alcohol, activities, childcare, and local cultural experiences. Our 100 acre riverside property offers private live music, riverside bbq, onsite basketball course, a custom onsite disc golf course, outdoor fitness centre, and forested nature trails. Through the Coastal Rides app, we deliver a world-class experience while providing a local service that meets the needs of our community. Coastal Rides operates on the Sunshine Coast, in the Comox Valley, Tofino, Ucluelet, Port Alberni, Campbell River, and Fort St. John. Riders can pre-book rides up to 7 days in advance using the Coastal Rides app.

Ridge Wilderness Adventures and Rentals is an outdoor adventure canoeing company operating in the Lower Mainland. We work with many school groups, girl guides, scouts and private groups all over BC, offering many day trips, overnights and multi-day canoe and camping adventures. We also provide canoe lessons throughout the summer season, and Red Cross Certified First Aid September to June each year. We specialize in Wilderness First Aid and our hands on instructors provide high level wilderness first aid instruction to SAR,DFO, and BC Parks ; as well as public first aid programs offered locally in Langley, Chilliwack, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island. We've traveled all over BC, Alberta, and the rest of Canada, as well as England and China; providing world class training in both canoeing and first aid. Our Rentals Operation is located at Kearsley Creek Campground, and offers Canoe, Kayak and SUP rentals all summer long on the beautiful Stave Lake!
