The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre opened its doors on June 30, 2022 and is located on the corner of Highway 16 and Pine Street on the traditional territory of Saikuz First Nation. Stop in to pick up some brochures, check out some local art, and chat with one of the friendly Visitor Services Specialists about the exciting things you can do in Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Community Museum is also located on these grounds. We encourage you to take a tour through our collection of six historic buildings at your own pace or with a guide. Admission is by donation and includes a large RV parking lot, free WIFI, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a 1.5km interpretive walking trail. We hope to see you soon!

Sealegs Kayaking & Marine Adventure Centre offers wildlife kayaking tours, kayak and stand up paddle board (SUP) rentals and an Eco Adventure Centre pro-shop at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith. Eagles, seals, river otters are commonly viewed in and around our quiet harbour and family friendly beachside park.

The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!

Scheduled tours take you to our most poplular destinations. The operator's commentary illustrates high points along the way. We'll touch on a number of topics; first nations history, natural history and geography, and contemporary activity. For groups or special outings arrange a charter using the whole boat.
