The BC Wildlife Park is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation of injured wildlife. Discover some of British Columbia's iconic wildlife and view nearly 200 animals and 65 animal species, including bears, elk, bobcats, arctic wolves, and cougars. The majority of the Parks animals are rescued, including Clover, the only Kermode Bear in human care in the world. This is the perfect name for our resort... it's so peaceful at the resort beside the pristine waters of Lac des Roches. Our pictures of the cabins so aptly display the many times the Lake is like glass... camp just feet away from the water's edge and enjoy the eerie yet calming call of the many loons... campfire evenings with friends and family are our specialty. Nothing compares to a toasted marshmallow or tasty roasted smokie with all the fixin's.

The Nkmip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

Snowshoeing is a great way to explore winter landscapes. We cater to a wide variety of age groups, fitness and experience levels. If you have never been snowshoeing, fear not, if you can walk you can snowshoe. Join us on a guided tour through beautiful snowshoe designated trails in the sub-alpine forests of the Selkirk Mountains. Tour includes snowshoes, tea, snacks and a gondola ride.
