Only a short distance from the lake it is an easy walk to enjoy swimming, boating and fishing. With 32' diameter, log rafters and a 6' glass dome in the 14' high centre it is truly an experience to live close to nature but with all amenities.

This large scenic park and wilderness area contains five major lakes, two river systems, many small lakes, streams, waterfalls and rapids, which make this an outdoor recreation paradise.

Small museum with local history and natural history of Cortes Island. Exhibits change every year. Beautiful heritage garden with picnic table - allows for family lunch. We are also a Tourist/Visitor Information Booth (T/VIB) as part of a provincial network under Destination BC

The Chetwynd Visitor Centre is conveniently located and has ample parking for RVs. The Visitor Centre is within walking distance of many of our 170+ chainsaw carvings sculptures including the annual competition carvings. Basic facilities are public washrooms, high-speed internet with coffee lounge and is pet friendly. Bikes and sport equipment is available for free use during your visit.

Our group facilities include full-service washrooms (including showers!), a covered communal kitchen with a large charcoal-fired bbq to get your burgers sizzlin, and free sani-dump for guests ($5 for visitors). Next door to the Riverside RV Park and Campground is a playground for kids, ball diamonds, and a large events gazebo that is available for rent. Sunstone Golf Club is nestled between 2 rivers at the base of Mount Ts'zil which is also known as, Mount Currie. Mount Ts'zil dominates the skyline of Sunstone Golf Club which sits upon a sprawling golf course located in Pemberton, BC. Sunstone Golf Club offers two distinctly different layouts. The first nine holes of the course is sprawled across the grassy, wide-open Meadows. The front nine features the course's signature hole, the par-4 eighth. This hole's trademark is the tricky island green, which requires a tremendously skillful second shot. The densely forested back nine is tighter and more difficult than the first half of the layout. Water hazards come into play throughout but they are mostly concentrated on the first nine. Whether you are looking for a relaxing lunch, dinner out, or a drink after your round, Sunstone Bar & Grill brings exquisite food and exceptional service in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
