Located at the entrance to Parksville, the Parksville Visitor Centre is conveniently located just off Highway 19A (Exit #46), between the Parksville Museum and the Peace Park. Our courteous and knowledgeable staff provide professional visitor counselling, customized itinerary planning, accommodation and activity reservations, helpful travel information including transportation and community information on all areas of British Columbia. The Visitor Centre is accessible. Public washrooms are available during our business hours.

Our trails are of varying degrees of difficulty and length to accommodate all levels of nordic skiers, for classic and skate techniques. The modern facility includes a comfortable lodge with washrooms, a racer's warming/waxing hut and some trails are specifically constructed to be Paralympic skiing friendly. Night skiing available with a 3 km lit loop open until 10.

In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided.
